Richard Ash, Director

As Managing Director, Richard runs Think Sigma’s day-to-day operations. With a career built on turning ideas into reality, he brings a rare mix of vision, pragmatism, and real-world experience.

He’s passionate about growth, and is known
for his down-to-earth leadership style. His belief? Training should be fun, relevant, and never feel like hard work.

Outside work, you’ll find Richard reading, walking in the countryside with his daughter’s dachshunds, or catching up with family and friends over good food and conversation.

Paul Taylor, Director

Paul brings decades of commercial and contract management experience to every session. His approach is interactive and conversational, no lectures, just real-world learning.

He loves helping clients identify challenges, build capability, and see the bigger picture. Delegates often remember his football analogies and ability to make complex topics simple.

Paul’s known for remembering everyone’s name and creating inclusive, engaging sessions. For him, training is about people first.

Miriam Betty, Senior Commercial Consultant & Trainer

With years as a Commercial Director, Miriam brings deep expertise and infectious enthusiasm to every course she delivers. She uses real-life examples, behavioural insight, and humour to make complex ideas accessible.

Miriam believes in building confidence as much as competence, encouraging delegates to share ideas, challenge thinking, and grow together.

When she’s not training, she’s in the gym, travelling, or planning her next adventure.

Tom Adams, Training Manager & Senior Trainer

Tom oversees the smooth running of Think Sigma’s Training & Operations, ensuring every course delivers real value and impact.

With a background in the Armed Forces, he brings expertise in security and defence tactics, supply chain management, and contract negotiation, combining strategic insight with hands-on experience.

Tom approaches every challenge with professionalism, empathy, and a healthy sense of humour.
